The 2023 wedding season was a very special year as my brother Christopher was married on July 1st. I scaled back last year to only coordinate/plan 16 weddings. It was an amazing year!

2022 was a super fun year for Greater Joy Events! With my son Patrick being born in July, Carly was introduced as our first associate coordinator to take over while I was on maternity leave. With a record of 31 weddings, 2022 was packed with gorgeous weddings (three of which were in Chicago!)

2021 was a great year! With Covid restrictions on the out, weddings were back to pack a punch. I was kept busy with 26 beautiful weddings!

2020 was a very challenging year for weddings. Most large events were postponed in the Spring, smaller Summer weddings were able to take place in outdoor venues, and Fall weddings seemed to be back to normal! 

Greater Joy Events was launched in March of 2019! My first wedding as a wedding planner was June 21, 2019. I learned many lessons this year, and am so grateful for the couples who trusted me to coordinate their wedding day!
